DF or DT, check before you buy
Suzuki four-stroke outboards carry a DF model name and older two-strokes carry DT, followed by the horsepower. Some parts are shared across both ranges and others are not, so each listing on this page shows the engines it suits and the original Suzuki part numbers it replaces, such as 32800-87J00 or 37850-93J10. Compare the number on your old part with the listing before ordering. If the numbers match, the replacement is designed to fit the same mounting and connectors. If they differ, ask us first. -
Controls, safety and charging
The Suzuki range here focuses on the controls and electrics that keep an outboard usable and safe. It includes a trim and tilt switch and a matching trim and tilt switch cable, a voltage regulator rectifier that keeps the battery charging correctly, and a kill switch with lanyard for DF and DT engines. The kill switch stops the engine if the helm is left, so it is worth replacing straight away if the clip or lanyard is worn or damaged. -
